A UNOCD delegation at LPH
A UNOCD delegation of ten Afghan doctors and psychiatrists, led by Project Officer Dr. Manzoor ul Haq, visited LAHORE PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL, LAHORE. The purpose of the visit was to assess the technical potential of treating the patients in Pakistan on latest medical research and findings. The dignitaries of the delegation were not only satisfied but also praised the devotion and dedication of the Doctors and Staff of LAHORE PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL.
Dr. Abdul Majeed, Dr. Asad Javed Akhter and Chaudhry Mohammad Saleem highlighted the workings of LAHORE PSYCHIATRIC HOSPITAL. They also stressed the importance of teaching Islamic values to the next generation. The use of drugs in Pakistan is due to the ignorance of religious teachings. It is also a fact that LAHORE PSYCHAITRIC HOSPITAL is helping the Drug Agencies to perceive a clear picture of the nature of drugs being used by the addicts in Pakistan.
